Brilliant Ben Kelly does the possible for PSM against Laxey
Ben Kelly has done it again – a perfect 100 score, this time against visitors Laxey.
The PSM first-team notched a 99 from Kevan Kneale, too.
Laxey's top scorer was the dependable Harry Creevy with a 98.
Douglas see off Sandsiders
IOMSC Douglas took the points from IOMSC Sandsiders at St Johns. Sharon Christian was the top score with 95. The home side's Jean Quaye nailed a 97.
Superb Suzanne hits hundred for Kirk Michael but Sulby secure the points on road trip
Sulby took the spoils in all three divisions. With the top gun on the night being Peter Faragher with 98.

Douglas sweep Kirk Michael aside
IOMSC Douglas took the points against a short-handed Kirk Michael with Sam Jones the top scorer on 96. Richard Kijak matched that for the visitors but the result was never in doubt.
Laxey do the business against Sandsiders
There were two 99s on display at Laxey Glen, one from Harry Creevy and the other from Jean Quaye. Laxey took the wins in both divisions.
Port St Mary emerge victors in derby against Castletown
There were plenty of good scores on the night for this match and PSM ran out winners in all divisions. Kevan Kneale was the top gun with 99.

Kirk Michael see off Laxey in rare win
Richard Kijak was the top scorer for the home side as his 95 led them to victory in both divisions on 469 and 464 respectively.
Harry Creevy hit 98 for Laxey with John Wood a point further back.
Mark Cain hits the ton as Sulby outpace Douglas in narrow result
Mark Cain scored a flawless 100 at Sulby's range and their 476 gave them wins in all three divisions.
Castletown cruise past Sandsiders
The reliable Jean Quaye was the top scorer for the home side at St Johns with 98 but it was Castletown who won all three divisions. Their best scores came from Nigel Christian with 97 and a trio of 96s from Richard Arthur, Robin McFee and Greg Gronkowski.

Ashley Gardner makes it “Possible” as he flies high for Port St Mary
Port St Mary delivered a great first-team score of 490 with Ashley Gardner leading the way.
Jean Quaye was the top gun for the visiting Sandsiders outfit with 97 and she did very well as a technical fault with her rifle meant she had to retrieve a back-up piece from St John's.
Port St Mary took the points in all three divisions.
Castletown cruise past Kirk Michael
The reliable Richard Arthur was true to form with a 99 while comic book author John Paul Bridson wrote his name into this report with a fine 97.
Perryn Watson was the top scorer for the visitors with a score of 96 but the team lacked enough players to mount a meaningful challenge.
Laxey edge out Sulby
Harry Creevy hit 98 and Gemma Kermode scored 96 along with team-mate John Wood.
Sulby's top gun was Mark Cain with 97, but the home side took the points in Division One with wins in Divisions Two and Three for the visitors

Douglas get the better of Laxey in opening match
In the opening salvos of the winter indoor league, IOMSC Douglas fielded 7 shooters to Laxey's 6 and succeeded in taking the points in both divisions. Sharon Christian was the top scorer for Douglas with 97 while Adrian Cowin hit 98 for visitors Laxey.
Port do the business on their visit to Kirk Michael
Port St Mary came to Kirk Michael for their first visit of the league and left with wins in all three divisions. Ben Kelly was the top gun with a 99 but their score of 488 will take some beating. However, the path to victory wasn't as smooth as it could have been! Nicky McMullin was all set and ready to shoot when she realised she was lacking a vital piece of equipment - her bolt! A quick scurry back downstairs, and the position was quickly rectified, with Nicky going on to shoot a very respectable 91.
There was no such drama for the home team, and Paul Hartley was the high scorer for Kirk Michael, with a superb 97.
This season also sees Kirk Michael joint the ranks of clubs with an electronic target in service and it was well utilised by both teams.
Sulby get off to a winning start against Castletown
Fielding 15 shooters to Castletown's 10, Away team Sulby secured wins in all three divisions in their first match of the season. Julian H Teare was the top scorer for Sulby with 90. In reply, Castletown got the reliable Richard Arthur to deliver a score of 97.

New Season set to commence shortly
The new winter leagues season is due to commence shortly, with the first formal matches due to take place on Monday 16 October 2023.
Ahead of the first matches will be the Open Shoot, which will take place on home ranges on Monday 9 October 2023.
The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed a change to the name of the league this year. This season, we will be shooting the SK Bookkeeping Services Winter League. The Association wishes to extend its sincere thanks to Sue Keown for her very generous sponsorship
